Are you looking for a fun way to try out new instruments, like Guitar, Bass, Drums, Vocals, or Saxophone? Want to be in your very own Rock Band with students your age? Ready to take your lessons to the next level of fun, excitement and motivation? Do you really enjoy playing the piano, but would like to take what you have learned and apply it also to a new instrument? Rock Band Camp is starting the first week of August, and is open to kids AND ADULTS ages 6 and up! IT IS THE PERFECT OPPORTUNITY TO TRY A NEW INSTRUMENT FOR A MONTH IN AUGUST TO SEE IF YOU LIKE IT BEFORE COMMITTING TO FULL-TIME LESSONS! Rock Band Camp is a 40 minute small group class that meets once a week to rehearse and learn nothing but your favorite Rock, Pop, Jazz, R&B, Praise & Worship, Dance songs, and more! The students get to name the band, choose the songs, do performances, and get real world experience—the sky is the limit! The only requirement is that the student also attend their normal piano lesson during the week to continue their general technical, reading and music skills and to learn the new instrument (Rock Band class is only for rehearsing the songs as a group. Individual parts are learned at the regular lesson).
